I have a few books on Kabbalah but I haven't pieced it together. This might be the catalyst, thank you!

I find the use of different historical worldviews applied by modern researchers to be fascinating. The idea that everything is already established and we get a slice of that pre existing understanding is very similar to Stephen Wolfram's idea of a ruliad. Donald Hoffman also has some very interesting things to say about our relationship to whatever is happening here. Michael Levin is a star in this area and he works with a bunch of other notable folks. There is the center for the study of apparent selves. youtube.com/@apparentselves?si=30jPVkzsVXU7WPB2This last one isn't an academic, I don't believe, but they have a lot of conversations with interesting people (some of them are). This video presents a synopsis of the platonic to neoplatonic understanding that I find obviously resonant. I've been playing with modeling the understanding of my visions in software. Karl Friston's work is directly applicable. I don't watch fiction or listen to music with words, so these are the types of things I feed myself instead.

Lee Cronin and Sarah Walker's work with assembly theory is also very interesting.
