Greetings!
I am White Lotus, aka Infinity Oracle on Discord and Reddit. I have studied various spiritual paths and within the past few years have been looking to Buddhism and Zen. Much of my study has been focused on researching the history and looking at various text, sutras, and records as well as applying the principles to my life. It's been an exciting journey so far and I am very grateful for all those who have participated in my growth.
I created this forum for friends to share more in-depth posts about text, study and practice, and translation work being done. I hope it become a useful resource for everyone in the community.
Feel free as always to ask me any questions you might have! Much love.

Hello friends, I'd like to provide a little update on my practice. I have been working on compassion meditation and bringing it more into my life. Much of it is a lot of internal work, introspection, and action. As I'm feeling my way through these things, I tend to be more absorbing than expressive. So I haven't been in a position to post a lot about it. I wanted to let everyone know this and I look forward to all you have to share as we grow together. Thank you for being a part of this community!!

Thanks for setting up this site. I think that as we invite more people, and they see the prospects of posting serious stuff without it being removed on the alternate Zen site, they'll start to contribute here. As to invitations, do you think we should invite freely, or do you think we should be very selective? I'm wondering if sending out a general invitation, like Buji Bushido did when he first initiated the EveryDaoandZen discord, might be the way to go. He sent out a general invitation in a comment on r/zen. You'd have to ask him what the results were. You've shared many good comments with the community. I'm sorry that I missed out on your introduction. It was so early in the inception of the forum and difficult to figure out navigation. So, that said: Welcome, White Lotus. And thank you!

🙏 Thank you! Yeah I think you can invite freely as you'd like. The forum is hosted on a few places publicly, and the more content we build the more notice it will get. I haven't been on r/zen in a while, though I do intend on completing the projects I have worked on there. Such as the comparative study of Huang Po's Wanling lu, and the Long Scroll. Again thank you for everything you've contributed! 🙏
